Our Management Team
The Management team comprises of selected individuals with the required expertise in security services and related field, which include emerging technologies. We have an in depth knowledge on various security issues sensitive to business organisation. We are constantly aware of the need to ensure that breaches of security are kept to a minimum, if not completely resolved.
Captain Hj Hanafiah Ibrahim (Retired)
MANAGING DIRECTOR
Born in Teluk Intan, Perak in 1958, Capt Hanafiah Ibrahim received his early education in Teluk Intan and continued his studies in the Armed Forces Apprentice Trade School, Port Dickson in 1974 until 1976. He then joined the army as an officer in the Infantry Unit. He left the service in the rank of Captain in 1991 after having accumulated 15 years of service experience. Capt Hanafiah joined Capvest Security in 1992. As a key man of the company his main responsibility then was to develop the company and was therefore personally involved and committed in the operations of the company. In 1998, Capt Hanafiah furthered his studies and graduated with a Diploma in Business study (Swansea) in a private college in Klang. His vast experience in managing the operations has greatly assisted him in steering the company into the era of emerging technologies.
YBhg Dato’ Hj Abdullah Fauzi Dato Hj Ahmad Razali
EXECUTIVE CHAIRMAN
Abdullah Fauzi is the son of a former Perak’s State Assemblyman was born in Kampung Gajah. He received his early education in Teluk Intan and then continued his studies in Ipoh. With the qualification of Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan. As a former small trader in Ipoh and with a little bit of army experience from joining Pasukan Simpanan Askar Wataniah in early 80’s, he became involved in the security business. In 1989, he went to Kuala Lumpur and started a business as a used-car dealer while waiting for the Private Agency licence to be approved by Kementerian Dalam Negeri and started this business in 1991. Besides holding the position of the Executive Chairman, he is also the Principal of Sekolah Agama Ehyak, Kampung Gajah, which is a private religious school formed by his late father.
Sharafi Bin Dato’ Hj Abdullah Fauzi
DIRECTOR
Sharafi bin Dato’ Hj Abdullah Fauzi holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication with Honours from Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM). During his university years, he was active in co-curricular activities and was awarded the prestigious Best Cadet Palapes Udara UUM in 2006.
In addition to his management skills, Mr. Sharafi is proficient in graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Lightroom. These skills enable him to develop engaging and professional training materials. He is fluent in both Bahasa Melayu and English, making him an effective communicator within and outside the company.
Sharafi bin Dato’ Hj Abdullah Fauzi began working at Capvest Security Sdn Bhd on January 3, 2007, as a Training Executive. He has over 18 years of experience in the field of security services. In 2024, Sharafi bin Dato’ Hj Abdullah Fauzi was appointed as the Director of Capvest Security Sdn Bhd.
Captain Hj Abd Razak Ahmad (Retired)
SENIOR GENERAL MANAGER
Born in Pontian, Johor, he earned a Diploma in Agriculture in 1974 from Institut Pertanian Ayer Hitam, Kluang. In 1976, he was commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant and served with the Special Forces Regiment (Commando) in Sungai Udang, Melaka. By 1979, he rose to Lieutenant in the Johor Military Forces (JMF), where he attended numerous courses, including Basic Parachute and Freefall (Sungai Udang), Company Leadership (Pulada, Johor), Airborne and Ranger (USA), Staff Officer (7 Brigade, Mahkota Camp), and various management courses at INTAN Kluang. He retired as Captain/Adjutant, serving as Personal Bodyguard to Yang Maha Mulia Sultan Johor and Duli Yang Amat Mulia Tunku Mahkota Johor. He was awarded the Medal of Ibrahim Sultan Pangkat II (P.I.S II), Bentara Setia Diraja (B.S.D), and the Medal of Pertabalan Agung Sultan Iskandar Johor (P.P.A). Appointed General Manager for Johor, his leadership earned him promotion to Senior General Manager in October 2019. He is now based at Capvest Headquarters, overseeing branch operations across Malaysia.
Mrs Norma Binti Ismail @ Razali
DEPUTY SENIOR GENERAL MANAGER
Mrs Norma Binti Ismail @ Razali, born in Pendang, Kedah, is a respected Deputy Senior General Manager with over 23 years of experience in security control management, finance, administration, operations, logistics, human resources, and training. She is skilled in budget planning and cost control. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree with Honours in Public Management from Universiti Utara Malaysia, supported by a strong academic foundation in accounting, commerce, and economics.
Her career spans both the public and private sectors. In the government sector, she served with the Road Transport Department (JPJ) and the District Office, focusing on trade enforcement and rural community welfare. In the private sector, she gained extensive experience in the manufacturing and retail industries, including safety compliance, logistics, inventory control, and retail operations. Known for her strategic mindset, high integrity, and results-oriented leadership, Madam Norma is committed to operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and the sustainable growth of the organizations she leads.
Mohammed Khairul Azhar Bin Abdullah
GENERAL MANAGER OF FINANCE
Hail from Kuantan, Pahang, He hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting From University Putra Malaysia, which he obtain after graduating his Analysis Diploma in the Research Institute of Investment Malaysia. His first experience however, was in AI Partners as a Semi Senior Auditor from July 2006 to May 2008. After gaining some experience, He joined Capvest Security in June 2008 as Finance Manager and later promoted to Senior Manager Finance in February 2014 and was recently promoted to General Manager of Finance on January 2020.
