TRAIL OF THE PAST
Capvest Security Sdn Bhd was incorporated on 4th December 1990 and subsequently received from the Ministry Of Internal Security, the Licence to operate as a Private Security Company on 8 November 1991. The first group of Directors and share holders was led by En Abdullah Fauzi bin Dato Hj Ahmad Razali, Executive Chairman.
In 1992 Capt (Rtd) Hanafiah Ibrahim joined the company and was offered investment as a share holder and Director. Capt Hanafiah, being an ex Military Officer teamed up with En Abdullah Fauzi, a resilient businessman established Headquarters of their Operations and Administration in Subang Jaya, Selangor. At the time majority of the business was concentrated in Klang Valley and Ipoh Perak.
Both the Directors decided to vacate the premises in Subang Jaya, Selangor and move to a more conducive office premises situated in Hicom Glenmarie Industrial Park and proceeded to established Businesses Branches in Johor and Negeri Sembilan in the year 2004.
Capt Hanafiah was appointed as Managing Director in 2004 successfully and act as the Key Person of the company brought Capvest Security Sdn Bhd into the era of emerging technologies. The events in the years that followed Shows successful growth of the company with the establishment of Individual branches for Kuala Lumpur and Shah Alam and the establishment of Sarawak Branch in November 2004, Sabah Branch in January 2007 and Pahang Branch in December 2007.
In the year 2006 the company logo was change to what it is now. The change is abreast with the branding effort of Capvest Security Sdn. Bhd. At present Capvest maintains a clientele of over 600 Security personnel nationwide.

Products & Services
Unarmed Guard:
Static Security Assistants are trained & able security personnel that could be deployed to your premises with minimum induction. Personnel are with minimum 2 years experience in Guarding and vetted by KDN.
Armed Guard:
Armed Security Assistants are Able Bodied Security Assistants that have undergone Firearms Training and possess the Carry & Use License issued by the Malaysian Police. Firearms use are mostly Pump Action Shotguns and Automatic Pistols.
Elite Security Guard:
Elite Security Assistants are mainly personnel who are ex Military, ex Police or ex government employees with security background. Due to their experience & knowledge on security or safety the utilisation of these personnel are targeted at a niche market.
Gurkha Guard:
Gurkha Guards are ex military personnel from Nepal. They could be either ex British Army Personnel, Ex Nepali Army Personnel or Ex Indian Army personnel who are citizen of Nepal. The acquisition of these personnel are through Ministry of Internal security, where approval to employ must be acquired first. Gurkha Guards would undergo local training to function as Security Guards and the duration of service in Malaysia is on a contract basis for 3 years.
We conduct motorised surveillance on high value containers and cargos either on unmarked motorcycles, cars or 4 x 4 vehicles. Personnels would be equipped with communications and for this purpose Unarmed.
We provide Guard Dogs that are trained by our strategic partner and package with our Guarding services to safeguard premises with High Risks categories. Premises that requires such services are Factories, Warehouses, Constructions sites and vast open areas where usage of Guard Dogs in an added advantage.
In meeting client needs to transfer money point to point, the company provides CIT security services using its fleet of licensed armored vehicles. This service are insured under Money Policy to safeguard interest of both the company and its clients Every CIT team crew member is well-trained in their own respective roles and responsibilities, individually and collectively. They followed CIT guidelines set in the company SOP. Client portfolio engaging our service comprise of financial institutions, government statutory bodies, government link company, multinational corporations, SMEs and retail establishments.
Certified Security Guard Training is a mandatory requirement for every security guard thus we have made it compulsory for all of our security guards to attend this course. This course would alleviate their skills and understanding of security. To mitigate the shortage of seats for the training we are utilising every available RMP training centres that conduct this training.
